The Discworld Collector’s Library is a set of matching hardcover editions of the Discworld novels with stylised cover designs.

These editions were first published by Terry’s original hardcover publisher Gollancz in 2014, but they only had the hardcover publishing rights for the novels up until Jingo. An agreement was reached with his subsequent hardcover publisher, Penguin Random House, to continue the series in 2021 (under the Doubleday imprint). The books produced by the two feature similar designs, and the only major differences are the publisher’s mark on the spine, and the lack of bookmark ribbons in the Doubleday books (from The Last Continent onwards).

While this was intended to provide an edition in which collectors could have matching hardcovers of all forty-one Discworld novels - a feat previously attempted with the Unseen Library editions - The Last Hero is not available in this edition. This is presumably because there’s no text-only edition of The Last Hero as there is for Eric, and it requires particular dimensions for the illustrations. In 2024, Gollancz did publish a new paperback edition of The Last Hero with a cover matching the designs of the new Penguin editions published between 2022 and 2023, making that the only edition to include all forty-one Discworld novels.

Matching Collector’s Library editions have also been published by Good Omens (from Gollancz/Orion), and also of the Bromeliad Trilogy (as a single volume), Nation and Dodger (from Penguin).
